No. I use gentle techniques where you will support your little one to learn the skill of falling asleep independently. There is often tears, but you are there to respond to your child. We are also able to use very gentle techniques which minimize tears if you feel most comfortable with this.
My assessment goes beyond the traditional ‘sleep training’ model. I consider your child and family from a unique perspective and are able to help you uncover the underlying cause of your little ones sleep problem. I always say “you don’t know what you don’t know”. I live and breathe sleep. I am up to date with the latest research and have helped countless families, like yourself, who thought they had tried everything.
Consistent sleep issues pretty much always have an underlying cause. The behaviour you are seeing with your little one’s sleep is merely a response to an underlying issue. That underlying issue needs to be identified and addressed in order to achieve success with your sleep plan. Providing a behavioural solution in isolation would simply be a band aid solution.
